Ori and the Will of the Wisps - 3D Environment Fan Art

This was my attempt at turning Ori and the Will of the Wisps’ beautiful cover art into a 3D environment as a personal project. I wanted to challenge myself to become an artist capable of creating different styles of environment art with consistent quality.

As someone who has only worked on realistic to semi-realistic environments, making a stylized environment based on a stylized painting for the first time came with many challenges. But after many hours of sculpting in ZBrush and tweaking lighting settings (doing a stylized night scene with saturated colors in a PBR engine was brutal), I think it came a long way.
